Security Officer License

New Jersey requires certification to work as a security officer

S.O.R.A (Security Officer Registration Act) is the name of the license and it is issued by the New Jersey State Police.

There are 3 steps to complete to get certified as New Jersey Security Guard:

Step 1. Register with NJ State Police Application.

Step 2. Get Fingerprinted with IdentoGO.

Step 3. Complete the NJSP mandated 24 hours of training at a security school.
